If you need food right away, your local mutual aid group might help. Mutual aid groups are neighbours who help each other out on WhatsApp or Facebook. Join the Brighton and Hove mutual aid Facebook group, or the one for your area and ask for help.

If you need food right away, Co-op can deliver within two hours.

You need to spend at least £15. Delivery costs between 99p and £1.99.

Morrisons Doorstep Deliveries

If you are shielding or self-isolating, you can order shopping from Morrisons to be delivered the next day.

You need to have a card to pay with.

Delivery is free for elderly and vulnerable people, £2 for students and £4.50 for everyone else.

Pop To The Shop

Pop To The Shop is a website where you can ask for help getting shopping for yourself or someone else. You add your shopping list, pay online, and a volunteer will collect and deliver it for you. It costs £1, to cover the cost of running the site and handling payment.

You can book a coronavirus test on the GOV.UK website. You can also call the NHS 111 helpline to ask for a test. You can ask for a home test kit or a testing appointment.

Do not go to the testing centre unless you have a booking.

If you have coronavirus symptoms, you can ask for a test through the NHS website. You need to have the test in the first five days of having symptoms. It’s best to ask for the test in the first three days, as it may take some time to arrange.
